RESOLUTION NO. 11-71
A RESOLD"TION C.A1NASSING THE VOTES C.l1ST AT THE REGULAR r,IDNICIPAL
ELECTION HELD APRIL 20 p 19712... AND DECLARING 'lIIJ:: RESULTS THEREOF
lN11&Ti.EA..'3:l a regular municipal election was held in and for the Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, on Tuesday, April 20, 1971, for
the purpose of electi.'1g three Villap:e Trustees, each for a four-year
term, and two Library Directors, each for a six-year term; and
"JHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have canvassed the votes cast
at said election and are ready to report;
NOW, THEREFDRE, BE IT RE..SOLVED BY 'llIE PRESIDENT AND BOftJID OF TRUSTEES OF
'l1-IE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUN'l'Y, ILLINOIS:
SECI'ION ONE:
That said election was duly held as provided by law.

That 3,343 -votes were cast in the following manner:

SECTION THREE: (a) 'fiat inasmuch a.s George Anderson, Richard r10nroe, a.'1d
Ken.neth Scholten received the grea.test number of votes, they and each of
them are hereby declared elected to the office of Trustee of the Village
of Mount Prospect.
(b) That inasmuch as f1ary Ellen Brady and Robert Nordli received the
greatest nurrber of votes, they and each of them .9J'e hereby declared
elected to the office of Library Director of the Village of Mount
Prospect.
(c) That all the foregoing officials so elected shall qualify in
the manner and imte prescribed by law.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner prescribed by law.

PASSED ANTI APPROVED THIS 27th day of April, 1971.
