NOR/TIS has devoted his time, experience $ knovJledfTe, and dedication to the position of servinfT in the office of Village Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect from November, 1969 to May 4, 1971; and t'frIEREAS, LLOYD R. NORRIS served unselfishly and diligently on various Co~~ttees composed of the elected Village Trustees; was also a member of the Plan Comlnission from May, 1961 to November, 1969; and was prev- iously a Village Trustee from r~y 7, 1957 to t~y 2, 1961; and vTtIEPEAS, the VillafCe of Mount Prospect has been rr".ceatly enhanced by the knowledge and concentrated efforts expended by LLOYD R. NORRIS in the perfo~ance of his position as Village Trustee, especially with respect to accomplishments too many to enumerate herein; and \\/HEREAS, the residents of the Village of f10unt Prospect are deeply in- debted to LLOYD R. NORRIS for his distinguished service to our Village; and \'j}-IERE1\S, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of I'/[ount Prospect desire to express to ILOYD R. NORRIS on behalf of all of the residents of the Villaf\e their gratitude to him for his dedicated and distinguished service to the Village; NOliJ, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That by this Resolution the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect eXpress to LLOYD R. NORRIS their deep gratitude for his dedicated, faithful, and constructive service as an official, Village 'Trustee, of the Village of Mount Prospect. SECTION '1"'JO: That a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the Board of Trustees of the Village of fl,10unt Prospect as a perpetual memento and that a certified copy of same be suitably engraved upon parchment and delivered to LLOYD R. NORRIS. BE IT Ii'URI'HE.'B RESOL\lED, that this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after Us passaGe and approval in the manner provided by law.
