RESOLUTION NO.
33-71
A RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS IN THE AWARD OF
THE CONTRACT FOR CONSTRUCTION UNDER SECTION 27-CS
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have been and continue to be in favor of the improvement of
the intersection of Northwest Highway and Central Road; and
WHEREAS, the said President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have passed and approved all of the necessary ordinances,
resolutions, and agreements to apply for and receive the necessary
HTOPICSn and other funds to implement the improvements to the said inter--
section; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect consider this to be the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT SOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect concur with the State
of Illinois in awarding the contract to G. A. Rafel, the low qualified
bidder for the improvement of the signalization and other appurtenances
within the intersection of Central Road and Northwest Highway (U.S.
Route 14) under Section 27-CS. It is understood this low bid amounted
to $91,740.00.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
