RESOLUTION NUMBER 37-71
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4.901 of the Municipal Code of
Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, the ?resident and Board
of Trustees shall designate by Resolution the number of of-
ficers and firefighters of the Fire Department of the Village
of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the Fire Department should
be increased in order to adequately serve newly annexed land
and territory and in an effort to provide a truck company on
initial response to all structure fires; and that all prior
Resolutions previously adopted pertaining to the complement
of Fire Department personnel should be repealed and a new
Resolution should be adopted establishing the number and rank
of officers and members of the Fire Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to Section 4.901 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, there
is hereby authorized (under the jurisdiction of the Board of
Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Mount Prospect)
for the Fire Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois, the following personnel:

SECTION TWO: That Resolution No. 19-70, passed and approved
October 6, 1970, be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION THREE: That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
