There will be no separate discussion of those items unless a Board member, or resident from the audience so requests, in which event the item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered in its normal sequence on the agenda. X. OLD BUSINESS A. PZ-14-06, 1040 W. Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect Development Group 1. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1040 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This ordinance rezones the subject property from B1 Business Office to R2 Attached Single Family Residence to allow a 17 unit townhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended by a vote of 5-2 to deny the request; adoption of the ordinance requires a super majority vote for approval. 2. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AND VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1040 W. NORTHWEST HIGHWAY This ordinance grants a Conditional Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development, and a Variation for lot coverage to allow the construction of a 17 unit townhome development. The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended by a vote of 5-2 to deny the request; adoption of the ordinance requires a super majority vote for approval. (By a vote of 5-0 the Village Board approved deferral of the second reading until the May 1, 2007 Village Board meeting.) B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This ordinance implements components of the Village's new "Residential Intersection Traffic Control" program and the "Residential Speed Limit" program for Zone 12. (By a vote of 5-0 the Village Board approved deferral of the second reading until the May 1, 2007 Village Board meeting.) XI. NEW BUSINESS * A. Request Village Board approval to accept Public Improvements Liberty Square Townhomes, 791 East Rand Road. Public and private improvements for the Liberty Square Townhomes have been satisfactorily completed and staff recommend approval of the project. *B. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN (Exhibit A) THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE To contain and minimize the spread of the Emerald Ash Borer the Illinois Department of Agriculture requests all municipalities in or near state quarantined Emerald Ash areas to comply with state and federal regulation governing the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB). This resolution authorizes the Village of Mount Prospect to comply with the procedures of the Emerald Ash Borer Compliance Agreement. XII. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT * A. Request Village Board approval to accept the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative (NWMC) bid for the purchase of two (2) 2008 Ford 4 wheel drive cab and chassis in an amount not to exceed $69,900. *B. Request Village Board approval to accept State of Illinois bid for the purchase of one (1) truck cab and chassis in an amount not to exceed $71,356. *C. Request Village Board approval to accept State of Illinois bid for the purchase of one (1) truck cab and chassis in an amount not to exceed $63,129. D. Status XIII. OTHER BUSINESS XIV.
