RESOLUTION NUMBER 12-72
A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICE EXTENDED BY
RICHARD H. MONROE
WHEREAS, RICHARD H. MONROE has devoted his time, experience,
knowledge, and dedication to the position of serving in the
office of Village Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect
from May 1, 1971 to May 16, 1972; and
WHEREAS, RICHARD H. MONROE served unselfishly and diligently
on the Zoning Board, prior to being elected to the office of
Village Clerk, and as Village Clerk from May, 1965 to May,
1969; and
WEHREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect has been greatly en-
hanced by the knowledge and concentrated efforts expended by
RICHARD H. MONROE in the performance of his position as Vil-
lage Trustee, especially with respect to accomplishments too
many to enumerate herein; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the Village of Mount Prospect are
deeply indebted to RICHARD H. MONROE for his distinguished
service to our Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect desire to express to RICHARD H. MONROE on be-
half of all of the residents of the Village their gratitude to
him for his dedicated and distinguished service to the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That by this Resolution the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect express to RICHARD
H. MONROE their deep gratitude for his dedicated, faithful, and
constructive service as Village Trustee of the Village of Mount
Prospect.
SECTION TWO: That a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the
minutes of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect as a perpetual memento and that a certified copy of same
be suitably engraved upon parchment and delivered to RICHARD H.
MONROE.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval in
the manner provided by law.
