RESOLUTION NO. 33~2
A RESOLUTION FOR THE TRANSFER OF TITLE OF LAND
, ADJACENT TO nIE MOU:~T PROSPECT PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have'heretofore determined to purchase sites for use as
parking in conjunction with the Mount Prospect Public Library; and
WHEREAS, said sites have 'boen ho'ld in the name of "The Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois"; cU1.d
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospoct have 'tcvicwc,l the aforcsaid matter and 81'e of the opinion
that tho said sitos propo:~ocl to bo trunsf~H"l'od aTO n.cec1ed to provide;
additional parking for the Public Library and title there;to should
be in the name of the "Board of Library Dil'ectors of the Village of
MO\.lnt Prospect, Cook Cou.nt.y, Illinois"; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined tllat this is in the best interests of the
Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOtVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, 1lli-

of Library Directors of the Village ~f Mount Prospect, Cook County,

SECTION TWO: That the purchase price of the aforementioned lots
'shafl'be a nominal Ten Dollars amount, since the said Board of
Directors of the Village of Mount prospect, Cook County, Illinois,
is a part of the government of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois. .' ..
SECTION THREE: That the President of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of ?iount Prospcct is authorized to sign, execute,and deliver
a Quit-Claim Deed to transfer title of the aforementioned land (as
per copy attached hereto) pursuant to tho terms and amount aforc.
mentioned; and that the Clerk of ~he Village of Mount Prospect is
authorized to attest said signature.
Lots 8 and 9 in Block 4 in Busse and Wille's
Resubdivision in Mount Pro&pect in the West
Half of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois.
