RESOLUTION NO.
11-73
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING A JOINT GOVERNMENTAL
PURCHASING PROGRAM WITH THE STATE OF ILLINOIS.
WHEREAS, House Bill 2116, passed by the Illinois 76th General
Assembly, authorizes certain governmental units to purchase
personal property and supplies jointly, to include the State of
Illinois;
NOliJ? 'rHEREPORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY 'fBE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTYiI ILLINOIS:
(1) That said l1age of Mount Prospect does hereby agree on
a voluntary basis to enter into a joint governmental
pu:rchasing program with the Stat:e of Illinois for the term
of this Village Board,
(2) Richard L. Jesse, Finance Director and Purchasing Agent,
be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute on
behalf of the Village of Mount Prospect all necessary forms,
applications, requisitions and other documents relating to
this prograrn.
(3) That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval in the manner provided
by law.
