CAF/ 8~30~95 ORDINANCE NO. 4756 AN O'RDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE I OF CHAPTER 17 ENTITLED "VEHICLE LICENSES" OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Section 17.110.E entitled "Violation Citations" of Article I of Chapter 17 (Vehicle Licenses) of Chapter 17 of the Village Code of Mount Prospect, as amended, is hereby further amended in its entirety and substituting therefore the following; so that hereafter said Section 17.110. E of Chapter 17 of the Village Code shall be and read as follows: "E. The violation claim described in said citation to be issued pursuant to the terms of this Chapter may be settled, compromised and paid in the respective amounts set forth in the following schedule: 1. In the event that said payment is made prior to the mailing by the Village of Mount Prospect of a notice of non-payment, Thirty Dollars ($30.00) shall be accepted as payment. 2. In the event that payment has not been paid prior to the mailing of such notice of non-payment and in fact a notice of non-payment has been mailed Forty- Five Dollars ($45.00) shall be accepted as settlement. 3. In the event that payment has not been paid within the time prescribed in the notice of Non-Payment and a final notice has been mailed, Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) shall be accepted in settlement. 4. In the event that payment is not made within the time prescribed in the final notice and a notice to appear has been served or a complaint filed in the Circuit Court of Cook County, payment of any fine and costs shall be in such amount not less that Seventy-Five Collars ($75.00) nor more than Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) as may be determined and established by the Circuit Court of Cook County for any such offense." SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
