RESOLUTION NO. 22-74
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS
AND MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957,
as amended, the President and Board of Trustees shall designate by Resolution the
number of officers and members of the Police Department of the Village of Mount
Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
determined that the Police Department should be increased accordingly and that all
prior Resolutions previously adopted pertaining to the complement of police should
be repealed, and a new Resolution adopted establishing the number and rank of offi-
cers and members of the Police Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, there is hereby authorized (under the juris-
diction of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Mount Prospect) ,
for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, the
following sworn personnel:

*Note: The present Chief of Police (having been
appointed Chief by the Village Manager pursuant
to the terms of Article VIII of Chapter 4 of the
Mount Prospect Municipal Code of 1957, as amended,
and the applicable Illinois Revised Statutes) shall
retain his rank of Sergeant and shall continue to
serve as one of the such Sergeant's hereinabove
authorized.
SECTION TWO: That, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of the Village
of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, there is hereby authorized (not to be under
the jurisdiction of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Mount
Prospect) for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County ,
Illinois, the following civilian personnel:

SECTION THREE: That all prior Resolutions designating Police Department personnel
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
