RESOLUTION NO. 26-74
A RESOLUTION CmfJ1Y!..EMORA.TING.. THE
OF
ROY E. SCHLE~WillR
WHEREASq ROY E. SCHLE~~iER resided in the Village of Mount
Prospect for the last 37 years~ and
WHEREAS p ROY E. SCHLEMMER 'Vias appointed Village Clerk of
the Village of Mount Prospect on August 3, 1943, and
~mEREASp ROY E. SCHLE~mR was elected to the office of
Village Clerk on April 17, 1945 and carried out the duties of
that position until 1947, and
~mEP~AS@ ROY E. SCHLE~lliR was director of the Mount Pro
Historical Society up to the time of his passing~ and
WHEREASp ROY E. SCHLEMMER was a me~ber and Past President
of the Mount Prospect Lions Club1 and
WHEREAS, we, as Mayor and Board of Trustees, are conscious
of the many and lasting contributions he made to the orderly
development of his community,
NONe THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE Ml~YOR AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLF~GE OF MOUNT PROSPECT v COOK COUNTYp ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That there be public acknowledgement of the
unselfish service of the departed ROY E. SCHLE~~mR, and that
this Resolution be spread upon the minutes of the Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospectn
SECTION TWO: That the sympathy of the Village is hereby
expressed to the family of ROY Em SCHLE~U~3R in the form of
this Resolution, and that a copy of it be presented to them.
SECTION THREE~ That this Resolution be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval the manner
provided by la'V>l.
