RESOLUTION NO.
27-76
A RESOLUTION OF CONGRATULATIONS TO THE
PROSPECT HIGH SCHOOL GOLF TEAM
WHEREAS, the Prospect 'High School Golf Team--the Knights--
has convincingly demonstrated their sports ability under
extremely adverse conditiorts by winnin& the State Golf
Championship Title; and
WHEREAS, this is the first time Pro~pect High School has
received such recognition, and also the first time for
cthis area.; and
WHEREAS, the team's action has broUght glory and recogni~
tion to the school and the towns from which its student
body is drawn;
NOW, THEREFORE,. BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, that the Knights Golf Team and coach George
Bork be extended. official and hearty congratulations on
their achievement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolutcion be
given to the team and to the Prospect High School Athletic
Department.
