A RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR THE SERVICE, EXTENDED BY
GEORGE.B. .. ANDERSON
WHEREAS, GEORGE B. ANDERSON, a resident of the ,Village of
Mount Prospect fQr 13. years; and. i>
WHEREAS, dur~ng that time GEQRGEB.ANRERSON has had 12
.years full time professional governmental experience; and
WHEREAS, GEORGEB ~.. ANDERSON served unselfishly and diligently
as a memper of the Mount Prospect Drainage and Clean Streams
Commission; and 0
WHEREAS, GEORGE B. ANDERSON devoted his time. as a member of
the Mount. Prospect Architectural Commission, serving as its
Chairman for three years; and
WI.IEREAS GEORGE B. ANDERSON was elected by the people of his
community as Village Trustee in April, 1971; and
WHEREAS GEORGE B. ANDERSON, during his tenure asa Village
Trustee, . was appointed Chairman of the Fire and Police Com-
mittee, and member of the Building Committee and Public
Health and Safety Committee; and

WHEREAS, GEORGE.: B. ANDERSON, c;luring that. . time,; saw .the fruition
of his efforts in: the formation oia flood control program;
and other accomplishments too many to enumerate herein; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the Vj,.llage of Mount Prospect are
deep ly indebted to.. GEO~GE B.. ANDERSON for his dis tinguished
service to the Village of Hount hQspect; . !
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF '
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS: ' .
SECTION ONE: That by this Resolution the Mayor and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect express to GEORGE
.B. ANDERSON their deep grantitude for his faithful devotion
to his community while ser,ving in the above capacities.
SECTION TWO: That a copy of this Resolution be spread upon
the minutes of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect as a perpetual memento and that a signed copy of
same be suitably engraved upon parchment and delivered to
GEORGE B. ANDERSON.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution shall be in
full force and effect from and after its passage and approval
in the manner provided by law. .
