RESOLUTION NO. 31-76
A RESOLUTION REGARDING FINANCIAL AND
LEGAL CAPABILITIES
WHEREAS, regulations of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency for grants for
construction of sewage treatment works, 40 CFR 35 C, require that Regional Admini-
strator determine that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect have agreed to pay non-grant costs and that the Village of Mount Prospect has
capability to construct, operate, and maintain treatment works project C17 2238;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect agree to pay the non-grant costs for project C 17 2238, which agreement is
hereby provided.
SECTION TWO: That the Village of Mount Prospect provide a certificate of the fin-
ancing which is available or will be available for project C 17 2238, which certifica-
tion is attached hereto.
SECTION THREE: That the Village of Mount Prospect provide a certificate of the le-
gal capability to insure adequate construction, operation, and maintenance of the
treatment works project C 17 2238, which certification is attached hereto.
SECTION FOUR: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.

CERTIFICA TE REGARDING LOCAL FINANCING
I, RICHARD L. JESSE, representative of the Village of Mount Prospect (here-
in called the "Applicant") , certify that the following amount and type of local financ-
ing is presently available or is scheduled to be available as the local share for the
proposed Step 1 grant project (project C17 2238):
$180,000 available from General Obligation Bond Issue funds
issued for flood control purposes. This issue "Corporate Pur-
pose Bonds 1973" was sold January 9, 1974.
