RESOLUTION NO. 32-76
RESOLUTION OF INTENT REGARDING INITIATION
OF FACILITIES PLANNING (STEP 1) WORK
WHEREAS, regulations of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency regarding
grants for construction of sewage treatment works, 40 CFR 35E, require that
facilities planning not be initiated after November 1, 1974. prior to approval of
a plan of study and require that facilities planning not be initiated after June 30.
1975. prior to approval of a Step 1 grant;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That initiation of facilities planning work will be in compliance with
these conditions and that it is fully understood that non-compliance with these re-
quirements for prior approval prior to initiation of facilities planning work will re-
sult in previously incurred costs being ineligible for grant assistance (reference
40 CFR 35.925.18).
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval in the manner prescribed by law.

REQUEST FOR STEP 1 (FACILITY PLANNING)
GRANT AMENDMENTS
The estimated eligible cost increase for Step 1 (facility planning) grant is
$720.000. and 75% of this amount, or $540.000 is hereby requested by the Village
of Mount Prospect (hereinafter called the "Applicant") as the Federal share for
project C 17 2238.
The Applicant also assures and/or certifies to comply with "Part V - Assur-
ances" of EPA Application Form 5700-32 (11/73).
