RESOLUTION NO. 33-76
A RESOLUTION OF INTENT REGARDING INITIATION OF
SEWER SYSTEM EVALUATION SURVEY WORK
WHEREAS ~ regulations of the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency for grants for
construction of sewage treatment works ~ 40 CFR 35E ~ require concurrence of the
Regional Administrator with the sewer system evaluation plan before the work is
performed for the survey to be an allowable cost.
NOW ~ THEREFORE ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ~ COOK COUNTY ~ ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That ~ if a sewer system survey is necessary ~ a plan of survey be
submitted for concurrence by the Regional Administrator prior to initiation of sur-
vey work ~ and that it is fully understood that non-submittal of the plan or a non-cur-
rence with the plan will result in the costs of the entire survey being ineligible for
grant assistance (40 CFR 35.927-5 (d) ).
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
