RESOLUTION NO. 32-75
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE AMOUNT OF THE
CASH DEPOSIT NECESSARY TO GUARANTEE THE
INSTALLATION OF STREET TREES
WHEREAS. Section 8 of the Subdivision Code of the Village of Mount Prospect re-
quires that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect set
forth and determine the cash escrow to be retained to insure the installation of
trees within the parkways along the public rights-of-way within the corporate
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS. the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
reviewed the recommendations and costs of the various trees authorized to be in-
stalled pursuant to the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS. the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect be-
lieve that the passage of this Resolution is in the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That all builders. developers. owners. and/or subdividers of
land who are required under the terms of Section 8 of the Subdivision Code of the
Village of Mount Prospect to establish a cash escrow deposit with the Village Trea-
surer to insure the installation of shade trees. other shrubbery. and other public
improvements within. upon and along the public rights-of-way within the corporate
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect shall hereafter deposit the sum of Eighty-five
($85.00) Dollars for each and every tree required under the terms of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Mount Prospect to be installed by such builder. developer.
owner. and/or subdivider. This deposit shall be in addition to any and all other
deposits required for other improvements under the terms of the Municipal Code
of Mount Prospect.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and approval in the manner provided by law.
