RESOLUTION NO. 1 2 - 77
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS
AND MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957.
as amended, the President and Board of Trustees shall designate by Resolution thell
III number of officers and members of the Police Department of the Village of Mount
Prospect; and. I
I WHEREAS · the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect hate
determined that the Police Department should be increased according'ly and that all
I prior Resolutions previously adopted pertaining to the complement of police should
be repealed. and a new Resolution adopted establishing the number and rank of ofd-
II cers and members of the Police Department; I
I NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES Or
II THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS: ~
I SECTION ONE: That, pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of Mount PI' s-
I pect of 1957, as amended, there is he::eby authorized (under the jurisdiction of the
Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Mount Prospect) , for the
I Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois. the fOllO~-
ing sworn personnel:

I SECTION TWO: That. pursuant to Section 4.801 of the Municipal Code of Mount PI'
pect of 1957, as amended, there is hereby authorized (not to be under the jurisdic
tion of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the Village of Mount Prospect ,
for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois,
the following sworn personnel to be appointed by the Village Manager, which swor
personnel shall continue to retain their permanent Fire and Police Commission ran .

SECTION FOUR: That all prior Resolutions designating Police Department person 1
be and the same are hereby repealed.
