RESOLUTION NO. 21-77
A RESOLUTION CONCURRING "IN THE ACCEPTANCE
OF THE APPARENT Lo\l[ BIDDER - liS" CURVE IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, it is desirous that Route 83, Elmhurst Road,
Federal Aid Project F-872(1), be improved by widening
existing land and adding additional lanes to facilitate
the safe and efficient movement of traffic; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, the State of
Illinois and the Federal Government, through its F.A.U.S.
Program" will participate in such improvements; and

WHEREAS" the Illinois Department of Transportation haa
received an apparent low bid of $614,845.80 submitted to
Milburn Construction Company of Mount Prospect for
construction of the project.
NOW" THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect concurs
in the acceptance of the apparent low bid of $614,,845.80
and the award of the contract to Milburn Construction
Company of Mount Prospect, subject to the acceptane of
said apparent low bid and award by the Illinois
Department of Transportation and Federal Highway
Administration.
SECTION TWO: That this Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
