ORDINANCE NO. 2079
IN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION II OF THE OFFICIAL VILLAGE PLAN

HHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect here-
tofore on IVIarch 8, 1968 did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 68-12P
pursuant to proper legal notice to amend Article II, Section 6 of the Village
Plan regarding Street Widths; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have reviewed the matter herein and have detennined that the
best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the
adoption of the Plan Commissions recormnendation on Case No. 68-12P;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That portion of Section 6 Article II of the Official
Village Plan referring to street widths is hereby arnended to read as
follows:
"Street Widths: Section line streets shall be not less than
100 feet wide; half section line streets not less than 80 feet
wide; and secondary and residential streets not less than
66 feet wide."
SECl'ION 2: All existing ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner "prescribed
by law.
