ORDINANCE NO .2086
AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AS I-I PORTIONS OF MAP 2lN OF THE ZONING
ORDINANCE. OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT . PROSPECI'
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on May 17, 1968 did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No.68-l9P
pursuant to proper legal notice.
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
recomnended that the zoning of I-I (light industrial) be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on June 25, 1968 and reviewed case
No. 68-19P and deterndned that the said recommendation of the Plan Commission
would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission
recomnendation on Case No. 68-l9P regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECI', COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECI'ION 1: That Map 2lN of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended reclassifying
from R-X (single family residential) to I-I (light industrial) the following
described property:
The East 230 feet of that part of the East 1/2 of the Northeast
1/4 of Section 35, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian lying North of the South 820 feet
thereof, in Cook County, Illinois.
SEGrION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
