ORDINANCE NO. 2087
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEGrION 4 OF THE OFFICIAL VILLAGE PLAN OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEar
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on May 17, 1968 did conduct a public hearing under Case No.68-22P
pursuant to proper legal notice to amend Section 4 of the Village Plan of
the Village of Mount Prospect regarding The Corrnnission's Procedure with
Tentative Plat; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect have
recommended to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect the
adoption of the aforementioned amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did meet on June 25, 1968 and did review the
recommendation of the Plan Conmission; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Corrnnittee have determined that the best
interests of the Village of flJount Prospect will be attained by the adoption
of the Plan Corrnnissions recommendation on Case No. 68-22P; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will
be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission and Judiciary Corrnnittees
reconmendations on Case No. 68-22P regarding the Village Plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEar, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SEarION 1: That Section 4 of the Village Plan regarding tentative II
plats is hereby amended so that the said Section 4 shall be and read as follows:
"Section 4 Conmission's Procedure with Tentative Plat.
The Plan Commission shall then approve or disapprove the tentative
plat provided, however, that if the tentative plat is not
satisfactory as originally presented the Plan Commission may cause
the subdividers to make such changes as may be required by the
Plan Commission and thereupon approve the same. Upon approval
of the tentative plat the following statement signed by the
Chainnan shall be stamped upon both copies thereof:
NCJrICE OF TENTATIVE APPROVAL
Notice is hereby given that the general plan of the subdivision
shown in this tentative plarhas received approval of the Village
Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect, said tentative
approval shall be valid and effective for a period of one year
from the date noted herein, and that the said Plan Commission
is now ready to receive the final plat for consideration.

One copy of the approved plat shall thereupon be returned to the
subdivider, the other copy shall be retained by the Plan Conmission."

SEarION 2: That all existing ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SEarION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and pUblication in the manner provided
by law.
