HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2107 10/15/1968 ~ ~ ~~, ORDINANCE NO. 2107 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21.1227 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the Building Comnittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet an September 23, 1968 in order to review the subject matter herein; and WHEREAS, the Building Corrmittee have recorrrnended to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that the amendments to the text of Section 21.1227 hereunder are in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the same is in the best interests of the Village of ~hunt Prospect; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS SECTION ONE: That sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph (b) and sub-paragraph (1) of paragraph (c), both of Section 21.1227 in Chapter 21 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, are hereby further amended by deleting the number "70" and substituting therefore the words and number "seventy five (75)" so that the said sub-paragraphs shall thereafter be and read as follows: "(1) Detached garages on interior lots must be set back seventy- five (75) feet from the front lot line and shall not be closer than two (2) feet to the dividing lot line. On comer lots garages shall be set back twenty (20) feet from the lot line next to the street." SECTION 'IWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by law.
