ORDINANCE NO. 2120
AN ORDINANCE REDUCING THE BUSINESS LICENSE FEE FOR THE OPERATION OF
MINIATURE GOLF COURSES, GOLF DRIVING RANGES, AND PAR 3 GOLF COURSES
WHEREAS, the Finance Comrndttee of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect did meet on October 21, 1968 to hear a petition for a
reduction in the fee for certain business licenses; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Comnittee recomnended that the fee for the said
businesses be reduced to $100 per year and that the same is for the best
interests of the Villag-e of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have
reviewed the recomnendation of its Finance Comrndttee and have determined
that concurrence with the same is for the best interests of the Village
of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Section 11.902 of Article IX Chapter 11 of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect, of 1957, as amended is
hereby further amended by deleting the word $150.00 from and inserting the
word $100.00 in the said section so that Section 11.902 shall thereafter be
and read as follows:
"Section 11.902 Fee. The fee for such li:cense shall be
$100.00 per year."
SECTION 2: That all other ordinances and parts of ordinances of the
Village of Mount Prospect not in conflict herewith shall remain in full
force and effect.
SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after May 1, 1969, and upon publication in the manner provided by law.
