AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1005 S. LINNEMANN ROAD
ORDINANCE NO. 2121
WIJEREAS, a written petition under oath signed by the owner of record
of land hereinafter described has been filed with the Village Clerk of the
Village of Mount Prospect requesting that said land be annexed to the Village
of. Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, all the electors residing within the said property to be annexed
have affixed their signature indicating their consent; and
WHEREAS, the said land is not within the corporate limits of any
municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Eoard of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect find and believe it to be in the best interests of the said Village
that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VIILAGEOF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, IILINOIS:
SECTION 1: That all land and territory legally described as follows:
That part of West 2.64 chains of East 7.38 chains of West ~ of
Northeast ~ of Section 14, Township 4~ North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian, lying South of South line of Golf
Road and North of a line being 199.81 feet South of said South line
of Golf Road at its intersection with the West line of East 7.38 N'
chaines of West ~ of Northeast ~ and being 204.69 feet South '0
of said South line of Golf Road at its intersection with East line~
of West 2.64 chains of East 7.38 chains of West ~ of Northeast ~
~ in Cook County, Illinois. ~
An accurate map of which territory is attached thereto and made a part ther
by this reference b~ and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Mount r-v
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: The Village Clerk of the Village of ~ilount Prospect is here
by directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois, a certified copy of this Ordinance together with an accurate map
of the territory annexed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
