( ~ -. , , ,,- .; ORDINANCE NO. 2122 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A USE VARIATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LINNEMAN AND GOLF ROADS WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect held a meeting on September 26, 1968 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Mount Prospect Village Hall pursuant to notice published in the Prospect Day on September 11, 1968; and WHEREAS, the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect heard testimony presented under Case No. 68-49A pertaining to a request to operate an office building on property hereinafter described, which request involved a land use variation, a side yard variation and a front yard variation; and WHERF-AS, the Board of Appeals recommended to the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect allowance of the variations petitioned for; and WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect subsequently met on October 24, 1968 and reviewed Case No. 68-49A; and WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee recommended to the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concurrence with the reccmnendations of the Board of Appeals; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect have reviewed the matter herein and have determined that the same is for the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF 'mE VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, IILINOIS SECTION 1: That the property being the subject matter of Case No. 68-49A being legally described as follows: That part of West 2.64 chains of East 7.38 chains of West ~ of Northeast !t; of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, lying South of South line of Golf Road and North of a line being 199.81 feet South of said South line of Golf Road at its intersection with the West line of East 7.38 chains of West ~ of Northeast ~ and being 204.69 feet South of said .South line of Golf Road at its intersection with East line of West 2.611 chains of East 7.38 chains of West ~ of Northeast !t; in Cook County, Illinois is currently zoned under the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect as R-X (Single Family Residence District) which zoning classification should remain, subj ect to the following granted variations: (a) That the use of the aforementioned property may consist of the operation of an office building not to exceed 6,000 square feet in area with proVision for the parking of at least thirty (30) auto- mobiles upon the said property, which operation shall not include the maintenance of any loading or unloading docks upon the said property; (b) That the front yard abutting Linneman Road may be reduced to a minimum of twenty (20) feet; and ~ ,-.. ...-~. ~ . .. . .. ~ (c) That the side yard abutting Golf Road shall not be less than twenty (20) feet. SECTION 2: That all other requirements of the Village of Mount Prospect Code shall be applicable except those variations as specified in Section 1 hereinabove mentioned. SECTION 3: That the Director of Building and Zoning of the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby directed to issue a building permit in accordance with the variations hereinbefore mentioned. SECTION 4: That the variations granted by this Ordinance shall be null and void and of no force and effect whatsoever unless an application for a building permit pursuant to such variations is made and construction conmenced within one (1) year from the date this said Ordinance becomes effective. SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the fnanner provided by law.
