ORDINANCE NO. 2042
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 33.1 OF CHAPrER III OF
THE MOUNT PROSPECT BUILDING CODE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY.. ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: Section 33.1 of Chapter III of the Mount Prospect
Building Code.. as amended, is hereby further amended in its entirety so that
the said Section 33.1 shall hereafter be and read as follows:
Section 33.1 Applicant to have on deposit with the Village
Treasurer the St.ml of $200.00 for each building permit; however,
applicant shall not be required to have on deposit with the
Village Treasurer any St.ml in excess of $2,000.00 for this purpose,
regardless of the number of issued permits to the applicant; and
said deposits with the Village Treasurer shall be to guarantee
the replacement or repair of broken or damaged sidewalks, curbs,
gutters and streets.. restoring the public property damaged, and
to remove all dirt and litter from the premises and from public
streets; said St.ml shall be returned to the applicant upon
completion of the building less such St.mlS as may be required to
replace or repair all damage to public property and for the removal
of dirt and litter from public streets abutting the premises
involved and less amounts needed to remain on deposit for those
permits on uncompleted buildings of applicant.
SECTION 2: All Ordinances, or parts of Ordinances, in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
