HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2048 02/06/1968 ~ .~ .-. ORDINANCE NO. 2048 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 3N OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE. WHEREAS, the Plan Comnission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on October 20, 1967 did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 67-24p on a request for a zoning classification change from R-l (Single Family District) to P-l (Paved Off-Street Parking) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of aforesaid Public Hearing was nade in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning change in that area would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; arid WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has recoInIl'Ended that the zoning change be groanted; and WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect did meet on January 5, 1968 and reviewed Case No. 67-24p and have determined that the said recommendation of the Plan Commission would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission recoInIl'Endation of Case No. 67-24p regarding subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION 1: That Map 3N of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-l (Single Family District) to P-l (Paved Off-Street Parking) the following described property: Lot 22, except the northerly 5 ft. thereof in H. Roy Berry Co. 's Northwest Heights, a sub. of all that land lying N. of the C. & N.W.R.R. in the N.W. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of Sec. 33-42-11 Rec. Mar. 17, 1926. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
