ORDINANCE NO. 2064
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 20S OF THE VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEC1'
ZONING ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on January 26, 1968 did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No.68-2P
on a request for a zoning classification change from B-3 (Business District)
to B-2 (Restricted Business District) of certain property hereinafter
described; and
~1HEREAS, a notice of aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the roamer
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the petitioner did submit a linen of resubdivision of the
property hereinafter described whereon there is indicated that the four
existing lots shall be subdivided into one lot; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning change
in that area would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect ;and
WHEREAS, the Plan Comnission of the Village of Mount Prospect has
reconmended that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect did rreet on March 8, 1968 and reviewed Case No.68-2P
and have determined that the said reconmendation of the Plan Commission would
be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospec
will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission recorrm:mdation on
Case No. 68-2P regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Map 20S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Mount Prospect as amended, be and is hereby further amended reclassifying from
B-3 (Business District) to B-2 (Restricted Business District) the following
described property:
Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Maplewood Heights, being a subdivision
of the East 15 chains of that part lying North of Railroad
of the Southeast Quarter of Section 12 ( except the Southerly
66 feet thereof) also of Block 26 in Busse's Eastern addition
to Mount Prospect, in the East half of Section 12, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook
County, Illinois.
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the roamer provided by law.
