HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2065 03/19/1968 -. /'~, ... ~ ',,> ORDINANCE NO ~ 2065 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 20S OF THE VIlLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect here- tofore on January 26, 1968 did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 68-3P on a request for a zoning classification change from R-l (Single Family District to P-l (Paved Off-Street Parking) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of aforesaid Public Hearing was made in the mamer provided by law; and WHEREAS, the petitioner has agreed to a 5 ft. set-back whereon no paving would be installed, on the east side of the subj ect property; and WHEREAS, the Plan CoIllTlission has determined that the zoning change in that area would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; an WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has recommended that the zoning change be granted; and WHEREAS, the Judiciary Comnittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Momt Prospect did meet on March 8, 1968 and reviewed Case No. 68-3P, and have determined that said recommendation of the Plan Comnission would be in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospec will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Conmission recomnendation in Case No. 68-3P regarding the subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, IILINOIS: SECTION 1: That Map 20S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-l (Single Family District) to P-l (Paved Off-Street Parking) the follow- ing described property: Lot 1 in Oliver's Resubdivision of Lots 12 & 13 in Maplewood Heights being a subdivision of the East 15.0 chains of that part lying North of the R.R. of the SE 1/4 of Section 12 (except the Southerly 66 feet for raod) also Block 26 in Busse's Eastern Addition to Mount Prospect in the East 1/2 of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, Cook County, Illinois according to plat therefrom recorded in the Office of the Registrat of Titles of Cook Comty, Illinois Septerrnber 14, 1956 as Document #1695707. SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
