AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING SCHOOL PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT

WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Corrmunity Consolidated School
District #59, Cook CoUnty, Illinois, did, in accordance with Section 7-1-14 of
Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes, adopt a Resolution reconnnending
the annexation of the real estate hereinafter described to the Village of
Mount Prospect, which Resolution did contain all requisite requirements so as
to conply with the Statutes made and provided; and
WHEREAS, a copy of said Resolution was duly delivered to the Village
Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the real estate hereinafter described is contiguous to the
corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect and not within the corporate
boundaries of any municipality; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois do believe it to be in the best interests of
the Village that' the properties hereinafter described by, in fact, annexed to
the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That the territory and lands hereinafter described, to-wit:
The South 315 feet of the North 703.70 feet of the West 692.40
feet of Lot 2 in Edward Busse's Division of Part of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 15 and the Northeast Quarter of Section 22,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the 'l"hird Principal Meridian
in Cook County, Illinois,
being contiguous, to the Village of Mount Prospect but without the corporate
limits of any mynicipality, and having no one residing thereon, and which has
been duly petitIoned by Resolution adopted by the Conmunity Consolidated
School District #59, Cook County, Illinois, which School District is the
beneficial owner of the said property, be and is hereby annexed and made part
of the Village of Mount Prospect.
SECTION 2: That the boundary lines of the Village of Mount Prospect
be hereby enlarged and extended so as to include within its corporate
boundaries the above described real estate.

SECTION 3: That the Village Clerk is directed to file a certified
copy of this Ordinance, together \'1i th an accurate map of the above territory,
ith the Recorder of Deeds, Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 4: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
d after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
