ORDINANCE NO. 2125
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING ON GOLF ROAD IN _ THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to prohibit parking along the northerly
and southerly sides of Golf Road from Mt. Prospect Road to the intersection
of I Oka Avenue premised upon the public improvements thereon made by another
governmental body; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees on March 5, 1968 did pass
Ordinance No. 2057 prohibiting the said parking on Golf Road from Mt. Prospect
Road to I Oka Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it has now become necessary in addition to prohibit parking
along the Northerly and Southerly side of Golf Road from I Oka Avenue to the
westerly corporate limits of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, premised upon similar pUblic improvements thereon to be made by
another governmental body; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic Code, Sections 18.831 and 18.1511 of Chapter 18 of
the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, provides and
establishes a minimum fine of $5.00 and a ~aximum fine of $500.00 for violatio
of Schedule V of the said Code; and
WHEREAS, the said schedule prohibits the stoping, standing, or parking of
any vehicle an certain described streets:
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1: That Schedule V of Article XVI of Chapter 18 (The Traffic
Code) of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and is
hereby further amended by adding thereto provisions prohibiting parking along
both the northerly and southerly sides of Golf Road, not only from Mt. Prospect
Road westerly to I Oka, but to the westerly limits of Mount Prospect so that
the said Schedule V shall be amended by inserting thereon the following:

at any time
DESCRIPTION
Entire jurisdiction"
SECTION 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
