July 7, 2020 - REGULAR MEETING OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT
VILLAGE BOARD -
On Tuesday, June 16 2020, the Village Manager met with prospective owner Mihr
Patel regarding his request for a new Class F-2 Liquor License for the above
referenced address. The Class F-2 License provides for the sale of beer and wine
-?t dining tables only.
Mr. Patel came to the United States in 2003,, where his first job was at Rosati"s
Pizza in Niles. Under the guidance of the original Rosati family owners., he gained
knowledge in the hospital ity/pizza industry. Three years later, he purchased a
Rosati"s franchise in Lincolnwood and the secrets of the Old Italian family recipes.

Rosati"s Pizza in Mount Prospect,, is an original location, which opened in 1970 by

Mr. Patel indicated that there will be no change in staff and he would be the
manager on duty running operations. The restaurant will remain open seven days
2 week Sunday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday and
Saturday midnight.
The requirements of the Village"s Liquor Code including the need to be mindful of
sales to minors as well as obviously intoxicated persons along with the
requirements of the Village's Fight Ordinance was reviewed. Also emphasized was
the need for appropriate controls to be in place to insure that restaurant

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ACTING IN THE EXERCISE OF THEIR HOME RULE POWERS:
SECTION ONE: That in accordance with Subsection A of Section 13.108 of Chapter 13 of the Village Code
of Mount Prospect, as amended, the Corporate Authorities shall determine the number of Liquor Licenses
available in each Classification and shall establish a list specifying the number of Liquor Licenses
authorized. Said list is hereby amended increasing the number of Class "F-2" license by One (1) OM
SWAMI GROUP LLC d/b/a ROSATI'S PIZZA located at 1629 BUSSE Said list is as follows:
