AN ORDINANCE Arv1ENDING SECTION 13.106
OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT MUNICIPAL CODE
T:JHEREAS. the Finance Comnittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect have studied and reviewed the fees for liquor licenses is-
sued by the Local Liquor Commissioner of the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS. the said Finance Committee has recommended to the President of the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, as the result of the
Finance Meeting of January 20. 1969. at 8: 00 P. rlI.. to increase the annual
fee for the Class "M" license; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have reviewed the matter herein and have determined the same is for the best
interest of the Village of rlIount Prospect;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT. COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the last sentence of Section 13.106 of Chapter 13 of the
Municipal Code of J.\1ount Prospect of 1957, as amended, is hereby further
amended by deleting $1,500 and substituting therefore $2,000 so that the
last sentence of the said Section 13.106 shall hereafter be and read as follow
"The annual fee there fore shall be $2.000."
SECTION 'lWO: That the license fee increase contained in this Ordinance shall
apply to Class "M" licenses issued for the fiscal year beginning May 1. 1969,
and continuing thereafter. and shall not affect any currently outstanding
license.
SECTION THREE: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage. approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
