AN ORDDJANCE AMENDDJG MAP 36s OF THE ZONDJG ORDDJANCES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
WHEREAS, the Plan Cormnission of the Village of Mount Prospect did conduct a
Public Hearing under Case 68-52P on December 20, 1968 on a request for a
zoning classification change from PJC (Single Family Residence District) to
R-4 (Residential Planned Development District) of certain property hereinafter
described; and
lfflEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid Public Hearing was made and published in
the manner provided by law; and
vJHEREAS, the Plan Cormnission of the Village of fJtount Prospect has recommended
that the zoning change be granted; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Committee on January 30, 1969 has concurred with the
recommendation of the Plan Commission; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will
be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission recommendation on Case 68-52P
regarding the subj ect property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOAPJ) OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Map '36s of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Mount
Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassifying from
the RX (Single Family Residence District) to R-4 (Residential Planned Develop-
ment District) the following described property:
That part of the South East quarter of the South East quarter of Section 14,
TOl^ffiShip 41, North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
described as follows: Beginning at a point 12 chains South of the North
East comer of said South East Quarter of the South East quarter of said
Section 14; thence West 11.5 chains; thence South 2.35 chains; thence
West 8.50 chains to the West line of said South East quarter of the South
East quarter; thence South 5.65 chains to the South West comer of said
South East quarter of the South East quarter; thence East 20 chains to the
South East comer of said Section 14; thence North 8.0 chains to the place
of beginning, (except therefrom that part of the South East quarter of the
South East quarter of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal Meridian, described as follows: Beginning at the South
West corner of said South East quarter of the South East quarter; thence
North along the West line of said South East quarter of the South East
quarter, 385.20 feet; thence East 562.28 feet to a point 385.38 feet
North of the South line of said Section 14; thence South 385.38 feet to a
point in the South Line of said Section 14; which is 562.0 feet East of
the South West comer of said South East quarter of the South East quarter;
thence West along the South line of said Section 14, to place of beginning,
in Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION TWO: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
