HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2148 02/18/1969 ,,- .--" - - ORDINANCE NO. 2148 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 832 REGARDING VARIATION OF THE FRONT YARD SETBACK REQUIREJVENT OF PROPERrY USED BY - ILLINOIS RANGE COMPANY ON CENTRAL ROAD vJHEREAS. the President and Board of Trustees on June 5, 1962 did pass and approve Ordinance No. 832 establishing a variation of the front yard setback requirement of property owned by Illinois Range Company on Central Road; and tVREREAS I said Ordinance was adopted as a result of a Public Hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect under Case No. 62-10; and WHEREAS I the petitioner therein did present testinnny with respect to a future second story addition thereon; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 832 did not clearly reflect this; and WHEREAS, the property owner did appear before the Board of Appeals on January 23, 1969 and request clarification of Ordinance No. 832 with respect to the construction of a second story; and WHEREAS j the Board of Appeals detennined it was the intention of the petitioner and the Zoning Board of Appeals that the 1962 Ordinance 832 provide for a fut construction of a second story; and WHEREAS j the President and Board of Trustees believe that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be served by the amendment of Ordinance No. 832; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'IRE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION' ONE: That Ordinance No. 832 be in full force and effect and shall include the necessary variation to allow the construction of a second story on the existing structure Which extends, by virtue of the variation granted under Ordinance No. 832, beyond the front yard setback requirement on the property described in said Ordinance No. 832. SEGrIaJT\.vO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
