ORDINANCE NO. 2168
WHEREAS, the Building Conmittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Mount Prospect did meet at the Village Hall on June 11, 1969, at the hour
of 8:00 P.M. and did review amendments to the Plumbing Code; and
WHEREAS, the said Building Comnittee have recorrmended to the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect to adopt the said amend-
ments; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have reviewed the matters herein and have determined that the
same are in the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF r-DUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the specifications under "nonmetallic piping" found in
subsection 3.13.3 of Article VI of Chapter 21 (The Building Code) of the
Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, be and are hereby
further amended to el1m1nate the use of slip-seal joints by substituting
therefore AST.M: and FS standards so that the said specifications shall
hereafter be and read as follows:

SECTION TWO: That Section 3.13 of Article VI of Chapter 21 (The Building
Code) of the Municipal C ode of Mount Prospect of 1957, as amended, be
and is hereby further amended by adding thereto a new sub-section .4 so
that the said sub-section 3.13.4 shall hereafter be and read as follows:
"3.13.4. All sanitary sewer pipe must conform with AST.M:
C 200-64T, and all VCP Sanitary Sewer joints must conform
with AS'IM C 425."
SECTION THREE: '!hat this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided
by law.
