ORDIANCE NO. 2177
AN ORDINANCE AMF..NDING JVTAP 8-s OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE
OF MOUNT PRO-SPECT
,
WHEREAS. the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore
on April 18. 1969 did conduct a Public Hearing under Case No. 69-9P on a
request for a zoning classification changes from an R-l District (Single
Family Residence) to a B-2.l District (Business - Financial Offices) of
certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS a notice of aforesaid Public Hearing \'las made in the manner pro-
vided by law: and
WHEREAS, the petitioner did subwit a linen of resubdivision of the pro-
perty hereinafter described whereon there is indicated a single lot kno~m as
109 and 111 South Enerson Street. and 108, 110 and 112 South Maple Street;
and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has recomnended that the zoning change be
granted, provided that petitioners and the Village construct an additional
lane for traffic on Maple Street; and
WHEREAS, the Judiciary Corrmittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of rlbunt Propect net and reviewed Case No. 69-9P and have detemined that
the said recommendation of the Plan Commission would be in the best interests
of the Village of rv'Dunt Prospect; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect
have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect
will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission recorrmendation on
Case No. 69-9P regarding the subject property;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE President and BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF IDUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY. ILLINOIS:
SECTION .ONE: That Map 8-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
lVbunt Prospect, as amended, be and is hereby further amended by reclassify-
ing from an R-l District (Single Family Residence) to a B-2.l of District
(Business - Financial Offices) of the following described property:
Lots 5. 6. 7, 19 and 20 in Block 12 in Busse and Wille's
Resubdi vision in :Mount Prospect. in the v.Jest Half (1/2)
of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the
Third Principal IVeridian.
SECI'ION rrwo: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by
law.
