ORDINANCE NO. 2129
AN ORDINAi.'JCE VACATING PORI'ION OF THE PUBLIC
ALLEY SOUTH OF CENTRAL ROAD AND BETWEEN
HAIN AND WILIE STREETS
WHEREAS, the Finance Conmi ttee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
J:l1ount Prospect have net on November 18, 1968 and have considered the sale
of portion of the public alley to the abutting property owner, and have
recoI'l'lm3nded to the Board of Trustees the sale of same; and
\'lliEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount
Prospect have reviewed the recol'l1rOOndation of the said Finance Conmittee
and have determined that the same is for the best interests of the Village
of Mount Prospect;
NOW. THEREFDRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUS'IEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MJUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That the following portion of the public alley lying south of
Central Road and between Main and Wille Streets within the Village of Mount
Prospect shall be and is hereby vacated, to wit:
The North 50 feet of the right of way of the Public Alley, 20 feet wide, in
Laudermilk's Subdivision of Lots 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Block 7 in Mount
Prospect, being a Subdivision in Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
SEGrION TWO: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Mount Prospect is
hereby directed to file in the office of the Recorder of Leeds of Cook
County, Illinois, a copy of this Ordinance, together with an accurate map
of the territory so vacated.
SECTIOl'J THREE: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval, and publication in the manner provided by
law.
