HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2184 09/16/1969 ORDINANCE NO. 2184 AN ORDINANCE AI'-'!ENDING ~APS 24-s AND 25-S OF THE fiDUNT PROSPECT ZONING ORDINANCE \A]HEREPB, the Plan Conmission of the Village of JVbunt Prospect, heretofore on July 18, 1969 conducted a public hearing under Case No. 69-24p on a request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single _ Family Residence District) to R-l (Single - Faroily Residence District) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearing was made in the manner provided by law; and \\lflEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning change is in accord with the Corrprehensi ve Plan in that area and would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, tbe Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect has recorrm:mded that the zoning change be granted; and \.IJHERE.A..'3, the Judiciary Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of flbunt Prospect did meet on August 26, 1969 and reviewed Case No. 69-24P, and have recolTl\'1'ended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of fIount Prospect concur with the Plan Commission of the Village of IVbunt Prospect; and WHEREAS, the President and Eoard of Trustees of the Village of fvbunt Prospect have detemined that the best interests of the Village of fvbunt Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Commission's recomrrendation on Case No. 69-24P regarding the subject property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT At-JD BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF r.DlJI'.'T PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That maps 24-...S and 25-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of IVbunt Prospect, as amended, be and are hereby further amended by reclassifying from R-X (Single - Family Residence District) to R-l (Single - Family Residence District) the following described property: That part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal ]\~ridian which lies East of a line 38.08 chains and 9 feet East of and parallel to the west line of the Northwest 1/4 of said Section 14 and which lies South of the center line of Golf Road together with that part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 14, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal lV'eridian which lies west of a line 7.38 chains west of and parallel to the East line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 14 and which lies South of the center line of Golf Road excepting from said tract the North 379.38 feet of the South 646.60 feet of the East 219.75 feet thereof, all in Cook County, Illinois.
