HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 2186 09/16/1969 ORDINANCE NO. 2186 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 10(ft.)-S OF THE MOUNT PROSPECl' ZCNING OFDINANCE WHEREAS, the Plan Corr:rnission of the Village of Mount Prospect heretofore on July 19, 1969 conducted a public hearing under Case No. 69-25P on a request for a zoning classification change from R-X (Single-family Residence District) to R-l (Single-family Residence District) of certain property hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public 'hearing was made in the manner provided by law; and WHEREAS, the Plan Corr:rnission has determined that the zoning change is in accord with the Corrprehensi ve Plan in that area and would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Mount Prospect; and \.JH.EFEAS, the Plan Comnission of the Village of rJbunt Prospect has recommended that the zoning change be granted; and vJHEREAS, the Judiciary Comnittee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of J'.'bunt Prospect did meet on August 26, 1969 and reviewed Case No. 69-25P, and have recomrrended that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur with the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect; and \VHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the best interests of the Village of Mount Prospect will be attained by the adoption of the Plan Comrrission' s recommen- dation on Case No. 69-25P regarding the subject property; NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AJlJD BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VIILAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECl', COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECl'ION 01\1E: That Map 10(A)-S of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of !\bunt Prospect, as amended, be and as hereby further amended by reclassify ing from R-X (Sing,le-family Residence District) to R-l (Single-falT'ily Residence District) the following described property: The South quarter of the Southeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section 10, Township 41, North Range 11, East of the Third Principal ]V!eridian, in Cook County, Illinois. SECl'ION TI/JO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner provided by law.
