NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'mE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF rrHE
VILLAGE OF MJUNT PROSPEGr, COOK COUNTY, IILlliOIS:
SEcrION ONE: That Section 3.110 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of
1957, rescinded in its entirety by Ordinance No. 596, passed and approved on
February 11, 1958, be and the same is hereby re-established by setting forth
therein regulations to guide the Village C1erlc of the Village of Mount Pros-
pect in diSCharging his obligations to make certain legal advertisemnts so
that hereafter the said Secticn 3.110 shall be and read as follows:
"SEGrICll 3.110. Legal Publications.
A. Except for the ordinances published in JPamph1et fonn,
legal notice of all ordinances requiring publication and
passed and approved by the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect shall be published in the Prospect Day
aloog with those notices required for public hearing before
the Plan Conmissicn and Board of Appeals of the Village of
Mount Prospect.
B. All bid notices shall be published in the Mount Prospect
Herald.
C. All election notices shall be placed in both the Prospect
Day and the Mount Prospect Herald.
D. In the event the Village Clerk shall for any reascn be-
come dissatisfied with any or all of the procedures set forth
in paragraphs A. through C. above, in his discretion he shall
be a11CMed from time to time to place given advertisements in
any other newspaper having a minimum general circulatim of
25,000 per week within the cOIporate limits of the Village of
Mount Prospect.
E. Nothing herein shall be ccnstrued so as to limit the
discretion of either the Village lVIanager or the various
Conmission or Board Chairmen in placing or making personnel
recruitment advertisements."
SEcrICN TWO: That Resolution No. 24-68, passed and approved July 16, 1968,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEGrION THREE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and publication in the marmer provided by law.
