Pursuant to t h e direction of the Mayor and Board- of
Trustees, the Cable Television Coordinator Karen Giet
prepared bid specifications for the equipment necessary to
televise Budget Hearings and Board meetings on a routine
basis. Attached for your review are the specifications and
equipment listings.
Because of the requirements of the bidding process, the
soonest bids can be opened is Monday, October 28 and,
therefore, their tabulation and analysis will be distributed
to you at the Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday,
October 29. In order to meet t our Budget Hearing schedule,
it is necessary to receive the approval of the Committee of
the Whole as soon as practical. Funding for this equipment
will come from prior years' Cable Television Franchise Fees.
Karen Giet will be in attendance at the meeting to answer
any detailed questions you might have.
