Acting Chairperson Busse called the meeting to order at 3:05 p.m., for conducting Fire Department
Interviews.
Roll Call: Mark Busse, Acting Chairperson
Rockne Bork, Commissioner
William Knee, Commissioner
Also Present: Brian Lambel, Fire Chief
Aaron Grandgeorge, Battalion Chief
CITIZENS TO BE HEARD
No one in attendance.
CLOSED SESSION
Acting Chairperson Busse asked for a motion to go into closed session:
1. Personnel 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1) -The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline,
performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body, including hearing
testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity
2. To conduct Fire Department Oral Interviews.
A motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner Knee to go into Closed Session at 3:06
p.m.
Roll Call: Ayes: Busse, Bork, Knee Nays: None Abstain: None Motion Carried
The Board returned to open session with everyone present from the previous session at 7:07 p.m.
Roll Call: Acting Chairperson Busse, Commissioner Bork, Commission Knee
Acting Chairperson Busse stated the Board concluded the interviews and identified eight (8) individuals
meeting the criteria to advance to the next level and the five (5) individuals who did not pass would be
removed from the list.
A motion was made by Commissioner Knee and seconded by Commissioner Bork.
Roll Call: Ayes: Busse, Bork, Knee Nays: None Motion Carried
With no further business, a motion was made by Commissioner Bork and seconded by Commissioner
Knee to adjourn the meeting at 7:09 p.m.
