ORDINANCE NO. 2222
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING MAP 10 (A) - S OF 'l'HE MOUNT PROSPECT
ZONING ORDINANCE
vlHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect
heretofore on November 21, 1969, and I:ecember 19 J 1969, con-
ducted public hearings under Case No, 69-35P on a request for
a zoning classification change from R-X (Single Family Resi-
dence District) to R-l (Single Family Residence District) of
certain property hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, a notice of the aforesaid public hearings was made
in the manner provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission has determined that the zoning
change is in accord with the Comprehensive Plan in that area
and would in no way be detrimental to the Village of Motmt
Prospect; and
WHEREAS J the Plan Commission of the Village of Motmt Prospect
has recoIl'lJrended that the zoning change be granted; and

vJHEREAS, the Judiciary Corr.mittee of the Board of Trustees of
the Village of IVIotmt Prospect did meet on January 8. 1970.
and reviewed Case No. 69- 35P, and have recommended that the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect concur
with the Plan Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect;
and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Motmt Prospect have determined that the best interests
of the Village of l'vlotmt Prospect will be attained by the
adoption of the Plan Commission's recommendation on Case No,
Q9-35P regarding the subject property;
NOll J THEREFORE J BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT M1D BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF 'l'HE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPEC'l', COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That !\'Iap 10(A) - S of the Zoning Ordinance of
the Village of Motmt Prospect. as 81rended, be and is hereby
further amended by reclassifying from R-X (Single Family
Residence District) to R-l (Single Family Residence District)
tl;1e following described property:
The Southwest quarter of the Northeast
quarter of the Southwest quarter of
Section 10, Township 41 North, Bange 11,
East of the Third Principal ~1'!9ridian
(excepting therefrom the "'Test 208 feet
thereof and also excepting therefrom
the North 183 feet which lies East of
the West 208 feet,).

SECTION TWO: That this Ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage J approval and publi-
cation in the manner provided by law.
