Mount Prospect Finance Commission
Minutes of meeting July 250 1978
Attendings Chairman Ronchetto, Commissioners Beierg Clausero Haase, Hiehle and
Linkman
Chairman Ronchetto called the meeting to order at 8:00 PM.
The minutes of the June 28th meeting were amended to add "authorize" and delete
"consider asking" in Commr. Linkman's motion in paragraph 6. The amended minutes
were then approved unanimously.
The unused and possibly unneeded flood control Hinds approximating $6001000 from the
1973 bond issue came under discussion. It was agreed that further study was needed
into the legality and wisdom of using these funds for other purposes such as water works
and sewer repairs or defeasing the bonds by some means in this amount.
A general discussion on possible areas of study -and involvement for the Commission in
the balance of the year was held.
The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, August 29, 1978. Chairman Ronchette
adjourned the meeting.
