SEPTEMBER 7, 1990
The meeting began at 10:00 a,mwith the following Village Board members
present: Mayor Gerald "Skip" Farley, Trustees Ralph Arthur, and Tin
Corcoran, Also present at the meeting were: Village Manager John Fulton
Dixon and Fire Chief Edward Cavello,
Tillage residents Mr. & Mrs. Harold Rentschler representing the Prospect
Meadows Homeowners Assoolation, appeared before the Mayor and Trustess and
expressed a concern about the length Of timeit was taking to complete
road construction projects in the area, Mr. Rentschler was informed that
the Village was aware of the fact that at times only one truck will show
up to work on the project, He was told that the Village staff was doing
everything possible to speed things up. Mr, Rentschler also identified a
problem at 605i E. Rand Road, This address is the location of a
uninhabited single family resideince which was involved in a fire recently,
MrRentschler pointed out that the grass on the property was extremely
high and there was also a pile of debris in the backyard, He also pointed
a similar problem, although not as severe, at 607 E, Rand Road where there
is also a small amount of debris in that yard. Bob Roels was advised of
both situations,
Tillage residents, Tom and Rene McGovern stopped by on their way to the
Public Safety Building Open House, They did not register a specific
complaint, but did request an update on the Solid Waste Agency of Northern
Cook County, (SWANCC),
