MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMENS PENSION FUND BOARD
OCTOBER 20, 1986
CALL TO ORDER
Secretary Fields called the meeting to order at 8:15 A.M., due to the
fact that Chief Pairitz, being the President of the Fund, had retired.
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call: Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer/Comptroller
Edward Cavello, Fire Chief
Delbert Ulreich, Firefighter
Ron Olsen, Firefighter
Donald Barra, Retired Firefighter
Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary
Absent: Carolyn Krause, Mayor
Xa ,� Firefighter
Village Attorney
Nominations were requested for the position of President.
Carol Fields, seconded by Richard Jesse, nominated Fire Chief Edward
Cavello to be President of the Firemens Pension Fund.
There being no other names submitted, Secretary Fields declared the
nominations closed.
Richard Jesse, seconded by Carol Fields, moved to appoint Fire Chief
Edward Cavello as President of the Fund.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Jesse,
Nays: None
Pass: Cavello
Motion carried.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Donald Barra, seconded by Richard --Jesse, moved approve the minutes of
the regular meeting of the Fund held July 21, 1986.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Cavello, Jesse, Ulreich, Olsen, Barra, Fields
Nays: None

Donald Barra, seconded by Richard Jesse, moved to approve the minutes
of the special meeting of the Fund held August 6, 1986.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Cavello, Jesse, Ulreich, Olsen, Barra, Fields
Nays: None
Motion carried.
TREASURER'S REPORT
Del Ulreich, seconded by Donald Barra, moved to accept the Treasurer's
Report.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Cavello, Jesse, Ulreich, Olsen, Barra, Fields
Nays: None
Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS

Committee
report, the following Board Members were appointed
to the Committee: Ron Olsen, Randy Werderitch and Donald Barra.
Finance Committee
There was no report. The following Board Members were appointed to
this Committee: Del Ulreich, Richard Jesse, Carolyn Krause and Carol
Fields.
OLD BUSINESS
It was noted at some future date copy of the By -Laws will be
distributed to the members for revision and updating.
NEW BUSINESS
It was noted that the Illinois Department of Insurance had reviewed the
records of the Pension Fund and that the written report would be
forthcoming. A verbal report given by the State Auditors noted that
the records are in very good condition and that the investments are
well done.

Donald Barra will be receiving a refund of $54.00 and Ervin Ville will
be receiving a refund of $14.00. These refunds are money that was with
held for taxes in error.
Del Ulreich stated that the Firefighters Association will have their
annual meeting on November 7th and asked if any Board members would
like to attend. Del is the President of the Association therefore he
will be attending.

Donald Barra, seconded by Carol Fields, moved to adjourn the meeting.
