MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMENS PENSION FUND BOARD
AUGUST 6, 1986
CALL TO ORDER
In the absence of the President, the Secretary called the meeting to
order at 8:16 A.M.
Ron Olsen, seconded by Edward Cavello, moved to nominate Richard
Jesse as President Pro Tem.
There being no further nominations, it was declared nominations closed
Upon calling the roll for Richard Jesse to act as President Pro Tem,
the vote was as follows:
Ayes: Unanimous
Motion carried.

Present upon roll call:
Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer/Comptroller
Carolyn Krause, payor
Edward Cavello, Acting Fire Chief
Ron Olsen, Firefighter
Randy Wrderitch, Firefighter
Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary
Absent: George Cullens, Retired Firefighter
Delbert Ulreich, Firefighter

RESULTS OF ELECTION FOR RETIRED MEMBER
Carol Fields, Secretary, stated that ballots were sent to the 11
retired members of the Pension Fund, with the envelopes to be opened
August 1, 1986.
The following ballots were cast as specified:
Donald
Barra 4
Robert
Fendius 2
Leslie
Wuollett 1
Edward Cavello, seconded by Randy Werderitch, moved to accept the
Firemens Pension Fund Board

election results and seat Donald E. Barra as the retired member of the
Pension Fund for a term to expire in 3 years.
Upon roll call:
Motion carried.
Ayes: Cavello, Krause, Jesse, Olsen, Werderitch

Nays: None
Donald E. Barra took his seat on the Board.
CONSIDER APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP IN THE FIREMENS PENSION FUND
Medical reports and application for membership in the Pension Fund were
presented from the following 8 Firefighter/Paramedic Candidates:
Anthony Huemann
James Flory
Brendan M. Keady
Douglas D. .Lubash
John J. Malcolm
Walter E. Morton
Michael E. Werner
Donald A. Wisniewski
It was noted that each candidate had undergone a complete phy scal
examination, as required by the Fire Department, which (.,xz ajj %)7as
conducted by Multi-Plex Medical Faci,l.ities. After reviewing the report
for each candidate, it was the determination of the Board that the
reports indicated no medical problem.
Carol Fields, seconded by Edward Cavello, moved to accept the
application of Anthony Huemann for membership in the Mount Prospect
Firemens Pension Fund.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Cavello, Krause, Jesse, Olsen, Werderitch,
Barra, Fields

application of James Flory for membership in the Mount Prospect
Firemens Pension Fund.

Carol Fields, seconded by Edward Cavello, moved to accept the
application of Brendan M. Keady for membership in the Mount Prospect
Firemens Pension Fund.

Motion carried.

application of Douglas D. Lubash for membership in the Mount Prospect
Firemens Pension Fund.

application of John J. Malcolm for membership in tr- Mount Prospect
