Richard Jesse, seconded by Randy Werderitch, moved to nominate Del Ulreich as President Pro Tem. There being no further nominations, it was declared nominations closed. Upon calling the roll for Del Ulreich to act as President Pro Tem, the vote was as follows: Ayes: Unanimous Motion carried. ROLL CALL Present upon roll call: Richard L. Jesse, Treasurer/Comptroller Del Ulreich, Firefighter Ron Olsen, Firefighter Randy Werderitch, Firefighter Carol A. Fields, Village Clerk/Secretary George Cullens, Retired Firefighter Absent: Fire Chief Carolyn H. Krause, Mayor Village Attorney APPROVAL OF MINUTES Carol Fields, seconded by Richard Jesse, moved to -approve the minutes of the regular meeting of the Firemens Pension Fund Board held April 21, 1986. Upon roll call: Ayes: Jesse, Ulreich, Olsen, Werderitch, Fields, Cullens Nays: None Motion carried. Upon roll call: Ayes: Jesse, Ulreich, Olsen, Werderitch, Fields, Cullens Nays: None Motion carried. TREASURERS REPORT Treasurer Richard Jesse presented the Treasurers Report dated June 3 1986 showing a Par Value of $10,228,692.21. 0, It was 110ted that the Board recently approved retaining the s a financial consult --ant and that M'r.- Fred service of Neal's recommendations would be presented at a meeting scheduled for 8:30 A.M. On Wednesday, July 23rd. Me'fllberfs of the Board were, encouraged to attend. Carol Fields, seconded by Ron Olsen, moved to accept the Treasurer's Report dated June 30, 1986. Firefighter Kooiker has been a member of the Fire Department and Pension Fund for 16 years. It was determined that there are no positions open in the Department Code Enforcement nor any other light duty positions within the Department. Carol Fields, seconded by Randy Werderitch, moved to authorize the Treasurer to pay all the medical bills in connection with Robert Kooiker's physical examinations in line with his request for disability benefits. Fields Recording Secretary Page 5 -- July 21, 1986 RESOLUTION NO. 2 MOUNT PROSPECT FIREMENS PENSION FUND BOARD WHEREAS, the purpose of the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund Board is to govern matters of the Fund, including, but not limited to, the prudent investment of the Funds; and WHEREAS, the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund Board review and consider the appropriate investments for the Fund; and WHEREAS, the inembers of the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund Board have retained a financial investment consultant in order to advise -he Board of the current market tread and best investments of funds enabling the best return on the Funds investi'n.ents; and WHEREAS, the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund Board have authorized the Treasurer of the Fund to purchase and sell securities held in the name of the Mount Prospect Firemens Pension Fund.
